Generally speaking, standard accessories include a large carriage connecting rod, a small carriage connecting rod, a clutch handle, and a large and small disc handle. Install the connecting rod and handle before use. (1) Check the instrument lathe 1) Check whether the machine tool is complete after unpacking. 2) Check whether the accessories are complete. 3) If the machine tool is a complete machine with electrical appliances, please check the electrical wiring before starting the machine tool to avoid malfunctions and safety accidents. 4) If the machine tool is a complete machine with electrical appliances, please check whether the rotation direction of the machine tool spindle is correct. (2) Installation of instrument lathe First, drill holes for anchor bolts on the workbench erected by the cement prefabricated slab, and pour a layer of cement slurry. Put on the machine with bolts (the bolts do not need to be tightened), and gently shake the machine back and forth to keep it level. Let it stand for 48 hours, the machine will gradually sink due to its own weight to compact the cement under the foot of the bed. After the cement is dry, tighten the bolts (this is a common method). The machine tool can also be installed on a self-made steel frame workbench. When installing, please pay attention to prevent the guide rail from being deformed, and ensure that the foot of the bed and the work surface are combined horizontally. (3) Installation of the main motor of the instrument lathe The main motor has two installation methods: the horizontal pulley is placed in the middle and the vertical pulley is placed on the side: the horizontal installation of the motor and the machine tool are on the same plane; the vertical motor is installed under the machine tool. The V-belt connecting the main shaft and the motor must be adjusted to a suitable degree of tightness. The machine does not have a motor when it leaves the factory. The user needs to select an appropriate power motor (0.5~3KW) according to the machine model and cutting volume. The motor shell and the machine frame must be grounded. It is recommended to install a protective cover on the belt and clutch to ensure safe use. (4) Adjustment of the clearance of the main shaft bearing of the instrument lathe Adjust the spindle bearing clearance before leaving the factory for the new machine tool. After a period of use, the machine tool spindle bearing should be adjusted appropriately to ensure the best clearance of the bearing, so as to ensure the use of the machine tool and the stability of the product, and increase the service life of the spindle bearing. For the adjustment method, please refer to the figure below to adjust the lock nut at the back end of the spindle box to obtain a proper clearance for the spindle bearing. Generally, after adjustment, it is advisable to turn the spindle by hand to smoothly rotate 2 to 3 times, and then test run. (5) Adjustment of the clamping force of the spring chuck This is achieved by adjusting the front and rear positions of the pressure plate. (6) Replacement of instrument lathe belt There are two types of belt pulleys for instrument lathes: central and external. The external belt pulley can replace the belt by removing the clutch part. The main shaft needs to be removed when replacing the central belt. The specific steps are as follows: 1) Remove the pressure plate, and pull out the pull tube and the chuck forward. 2) Unscrew the clutch lever seat from the main shaft, remove the clutch bracket, take out the sliding sleeve to loosen and take out the lock nut. 3) Loosen the front and rear cover screws, and remove the front and rear covers. 4) Loosen the lock nut of the belt pulley. 5) Press the spindle out of the spindle box from back to front. (If the bearing needs to be replaced, it can be removed and replaced at this part at the same time) 6) Replace with a new belt and install all parts in reverse order. (Note that the two lock nuts should be in opposite directions and tightened to prevent loosening during installation) 7) Adjust the clearance of the spindle bearing. |
